So, the title says most of it. I had set up a filler with landmarks so the black/yellow blueprint/outline of a cube was there. It did it's work and was finished, but when I was going to remove it I accidentally moved it with my gravity gun instead.

The blueprint/outline got stuck and won't get away.
What I've tried:
Save & quit and restart.
Setting up landmarks in the exact same locations and putting down a new filler with identical outline, save & quit, rejoin and destroy the filler.

Neither worked. Ideas?

Thanks for anything you might find out! :3 driving me crazy, and it's in a place where I can't just hide it either.

Are you running 1.4.7 or 1.5.*? I'm using a custom mod collection on 1.5.2 and testing suggests that the filler stays tied to its marked area, such that breaking the filler even after moving it (even with a save restart in between) breaks the outline. I can't think why any mods other than Buildcraft and Portal Gun would be involved, so I'm thinking it must be different versions if breaking the filler didn't break the field.

1.5.2 is what I run. 152ngt to be exact. I did break the original filler but that did nothing.

What exactly the outlines? They're not blocks, clearly. Might there be a tool that can remove them? I'm not adverse to adding a mod if that needs to be done, it's on SSP so.

Try moving a good distance away from the chunk so it unloads then let it reload.

It's seems like a strange bug. I haven't had the chance to try it myself but I am going to try and replicate you problem tonight hopefully.

(1) Relog.
(2) Set the filler again at the exact same coordinates, no landmarks. Observe results and report back.
(3) Remove filler after placing from step (2). Observe results and report back.
(4) Set the EXACT SAME filler at a different location, with/without landmarks. Two sets of observations and two reports.

Try any of the following:-
1) Use the filler to fill up the entire area where the yellow strip is (i.e., set the landmarks down again, etc).
2) If 1) doesn't work, use the filler to remove all the blocks you filled up.
3) If 1) and 2) still doesn't work (make sure you re-log after each attempt to verify, then set the landmarks down again, but this time, USE A QUARRY! Lol. Let the quarry run until it is all done, then remove the quarry.

Understand that 3) may cause a lot of mess, depending on where your glitched spot is located.

Let us know what happens.

Honestly, it feels a lot like swinging in the air. I'm trying it now, though it takes a lot of time. Now I'm cheating in engines just to make it go faster :(

Sorry buddy, I know it's definitely swinging in the air. It's a weird glitch from your description. When you said you've walked 4km away before, did you have a chunk loader in the vicinity of the black/yellow frame?

Nope, no chunk loader around! And filling/emptying and quarrying did nothing.

I'm scared of using MCEdit as I'm afraid it'll ruin mod blocks, but I see no other choice so I'll have to make a backup and test.

MCEdit did nothing unfortunately. :( Didn't ruin mod blocks on the other hand, which was a nice surprise. Gonna test WorldEdit later today, though I'm skeptical. And tired of this crap :(
