A year and a half ago, I was about to completely quit minecraft. Tekkit was boring, Minecraft was boring, and Tekkit was just way too laggy to be playable. Until I heard someone mention Feed The Beast in passing.
I google Feed The Beast, and found their site, reading it over and downloading the launcher. I selected the FTB Lite pack to get started, and went from there.
I was enraptured. less lag, more content, and I hadn't even installed Optifine yet! It was wonderful having so much to do every day.
Even though I sometimes get bored, I always find myself having something new to do, something to remind me why I love Feed The Beast. I love the community, I love how the mod owners actively chat with the forums, and I love the hard work everyone puts into their mods and the pack, even Elorram.
So I just wanted to say thank you. Modders, Pack Mods, and everyone else here have just opened me up to a way to play Minecraft that makes me never want to return to Vanilla, no matter what they add.
