Hello there, members of FTB Forum.

I have reviewed the server promotions forum multiple times now, and have come to the conclusion that it would be a lot better for me to host my own server with things how I like it. The project will be called 'Innovation' and will be a smallish server (10-20 players). I am wondering seeing as I haven't played FTB in a while now, what the best pack would be to run on it. I used to play FTB ultimate a lot, but I have had FTB unleashed recommended a lot aswell.

I hope you can give me your insight on this.

I would use the Unleashed pack with several mods added such as advanced machines, gregtech. And some mods turned on that are turned off by default such as: Xeno's Relequary, Power Converters, etc.

Thank you for your suggestion. I think I will go with the unleashed pack with some extra mods.
(I have just bought the server and will be starting development right away.

Definitely go with Unleashed + some other interesting mods, such as dim. doors etc. I hope to see this server running soon, as I'll 100% be applying for it.

I'd second the recommendation of ResonantRise! Its an awesome mod pack, the creator is very involved with the community, and it is extensively tested by a wide range of players to expose critical flaws.

I'f you're set on sticking with FTB, then Unleashed is probably going to net the most interest.

You say you want things "how you like it". But you don't state how you like it... Then it's hard to really give any informed suggestions rather than just stating the most obvious ones (resonantrise and unleashed).

What made you feel dissatisfied with other servers? What kind of stuff do you want done on your server?
