10 years ago FTB Founder Slowpoke released the original Feed The Beast map on the Minecraft forums. The success of this map spawned a team that has produced over 60 modpacks, Multiple mods, and 3 versions of the app that have been enjoyed by millions of people over the years. The latest version of the app is now closing in on 2 million installs.

Over this time, FTB content was produced by a small dedicated team of people that devoted their time and skills with the aim of producing high-quality content for fans of modded Minecraft. With the changes to the company over the last 18 months, including partnering with Overwolf and launching FTB content on the bedrock edition of Minecraft, we have been able to expand our team to include:

An extended modpack development team. The larger modpack development team has been brought on with the aim of increasing the quality of new modpacks and ensuring that our older modpacks continue to be supported and updated.

New mod developers. Our new mod development team has been tasked with initially going back and performing a full round of fixes to our existing mod content that has been sitting in holding for too long. This will be followed by complete rewrites of some of our more popular utility mods increasing stability and functionality.

A full-time artist. One of our desires has always been to focus not just on the quality of the modpack itself but also everything that goes along with it. A part of this will have been seen over recent months. Starting with Plexiglass Mountain all of our packs will come with brand new artwork.

In addition to the above, we have also brought on a new partner manager to help with communication between the team and YouTubers and streamers. New writers to help increase the quality of our quest books as well as manage our social media account and we hope to continue to grow the Java team in the future.

Finally, we have started bringing on a dedicated group of people to produce high-quality content for the Bedrock edition.

With everything that has happened over the last year and the progress we have made as a team, we thought it was about time to give the company a fresh lick of paint. Over the last couple of months, we have had a small team of people working on a rebranding of the company (designing a new company logo is way, way, harder than it sounds :D). Today, we’d like to announce a full company rebrand; this includes a full redesign of our website and logo, as well as rebrands on all of our social media.

In addition, in the coming weeks, we will be relaunching the FTB Shop with all the new designs we have been working on as well as some old classics. We don't have a firm date for this yet, but hopefully, it won't be too long.

Over the last 10 years, our goal has always been to produce high-quality mods and modpacks and deliver them to our users in as simple a way as possible. Our goal is to continue to improve this over the coming years.
