Hi Everyone, I am fairly new to FTB but also just got a hosted server which I am excited about. I am fairly savvy with some of this stuff but I had a couple of questions:

1. My server uses Multicraft and I have put the name of the jar file in and it seems to be working. However, there is a dropdown box in Multicraft that says "jar file selection" and it gives choices between "Default", "Default Minecraft Server", "Mod: Craftbukkit". I have chosen Default....it seems to work, but I want to make sure I am not limiting anything.

2. My hosting company is saying I can't have any anti-grief because FTB doesn't work with plugins. I know at one point that was true, but it seems to not be the case anymore?"

3. If the above is true, does that mean I can't use something like Essentials or Commandbook?

Thanks, I could use all of your expertise here!

Server hosting company doesn't know what it's talking about, there's a ton of anti grief plugins that work with FTB. One I'm currently playing on has anti-grief/anti-lock everything including stone blocks you place down. It uses so many plugins you type /plugins and it returns Alot! I'd love to give you names of the plugins but Alot! doesn't quite do it, so instead maybe someone else can put names to some of these:

1) Uses golden shovels to mark out land areas of protection (marked by glowstone and golden blocks on corners) - i think this is called Grief Prevention.

2) Uses LWC style block locking (in fact I think it is LWC) but the owners managed to figure out how to block every single item, even those with masked IDs.

It also uses choptree2, signshop and a few others.

Also essentials, MCPC+ both work, so there's loads of them.
