FTB has added a whole lot of opportunities to make new or better farms to the game. so i will be making a complete list of them. I will show a brief description of them and try to include a video if possible. Fell free to help me add more o the list.
Basic Mob Drops Farms:
Gunpowder
Make a creeper soul shard.
build mob farm (more description latter in the article)
Bees (there are some that will have powdery comb as their products and tht will make gunpowder.
Bones:
Make a skeleton soul shards
Build mob farm.
Ender pearls:
( As usual ftb should make a lot of this easier)
Then make a soul shard.
(also useful for things)
Regular mob trap:
Now for some good stuff
Cobblestone,stone,mossy,cracked bricks, and such:
Cobblestone:
Use a Igneous Extruder, super easy.
Mossy Cobblestone:
stone generator:
Smelt the cobblestone, use solar panels to power;
Cracked stone brick generator:

Dusts (redstone, golwstone, etc)
Coal:
One way is to make a wither skeleton farm (soul shards is your friend).
Redstone and glowstone.
Make a witch farm, then use soul shards (once again ftb makes this easier)

Charcoal Farm:
Use a tree farm (found later down in the article), then smelt it.
Metals Farms;
Iron Farm:
Use ender pearls to transmute them into four iron ingots. You need a chard of minuim.
