Im running on MultiMC as someone told me to add a few parameters and see if the lags get better or not, so the parameters is:
"-d64 -server -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=40 -XX:GCPauseIntervalMillis=150 -XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:+AggressiveOpts"

So the allocation for it is 4096Mb right now.
I tried to allocate 16GB and i tried all between 2-4GB.

Yes, this was from me, and helps gut the general lag from ftb, but it doesn't fix all problems.

Quite honestly I don't have a great computer atm, but I still get better fps than you. You want to know why? Because I pay attention to what problems occur for people and solutions that at least some what alleviate them.

Like how turning off clouds can give some users a huge fps boost.
Like how the 1.4.7 packs have memory leaks that can destabilize your world (and fps) and placing spot loaders to prevent them and increase some users fps.
Like knowing how some optimizations in 1.5.x can triple some users fps over 1.4.x
Like how learning how to tune your Gfx card for java can jump some users fps.
Like how a change from java7u9 to u21 can up some users fps.

Do you see the trend? It's "some users" not "all users."

Everyone will have different suggestions for you to try. Some will work, some won't. Possibly none may, or you may need a specific conjunction of things.

But if you act like the beginning of this thread, no one will offer what worked for them and you will be stuck playing at low fps.

Only the second option I have heard before, the others one i had no idea about.
But the VERY common things like restarting computer and that.... I HATE getting that since i have soooo much bad experience with EA support about it.

Tried turning off clouds, didnt do any difference.
I have put one chunk loader in twilight, one in the mining age and one in Overworld and one in Nether... No difference i have noticed so far.
What do you mean with the optimizations of 1.5.x? Im running 1.5.2 on Direwolfs pack.
Well... Please tell me how i should learn it, I have no idea whats best for Java but this doesnt seem like its a graphical issue actually :/
Since i did this complete reinstall of Java and followed the steps in the troubleshoot thingy, i think i have the latest Java.

Im sorry for being so rude, but you have NO IDEA how frustrating this is.
Especially when it doesnt seem to be fixable in any way!

A lot of people here would probably know exactly how frustrating this is for you.
It can also get frustrating for people trying to help others that are being rude and we also try to keep them claim at the same time.

About the only other thing I can tell you to try is adding in some chunk cache.

Go to your config folder and open forgeChunkLoading.cfg and find I:dormantChunkCacheSize and set it to 1024. You can increase this number as you see fit, but I have not used it over 8192 myself because it starts requiring an excessive amount of memory after 2k and you will start getting OoM errors.

You would download the Windows x64 one unless you are on a mac which you wiwll download java 6.
Also i don't know how well update 25 goes yet.

Try 21 then 25 after?

25 been good to me. It was almost all security fixes and a handful of bug fixes. I didn't get to finish reading the tech sheet.

To go a bit off topic...
After I now installed u25 and the java site pops up to verify i have it, it still says i dont have it at all, google chrome pops up and tells me to download it again... :S

And also, after deleting everything that has to do with the launcher it still remembers my profile and settings...
Where the... is the config files for the launcher itself?

It's in your roaming folder.
Just go to the windows menu and type %appdata% and hit enter.
Then look for "ftblauncher"

Alright, Now deleted it all, didnt add ANY mod to it and started it up.
FPS's:
Looking towards main building: 30
Looking towards Thaumcraft room: 50-55ish
Looking towards bee room: 60
looking towards spawners and nuclear room (im on ep60): 47-50ish

This is so... I dont even...
Also, i put all the settings before i joined the game to low.
Everything on fast and off.

What mode should i have the console on to copy it?
Minimal, extended or debug?

Also, WHEN should i actually copy it? should i let the game run for several hours until the FPS just gets horrible or does it be enough if i do it when it goes down to 20ish?

Sounds like you have a memory leak in one of the mods and i don't know if they even show up in the logs. =S

Sigh... So what is the suggestion how to proceed now?

Already tried to disable xycraft but if i do this again i might aswell stop playing since direwolf uses it

Does it really need to be that way? Why don't you try playing the game doing your own thing?

Might sound tedious, but have you tried backing up your world/configs and removing mods 1 by 1 and reloading your world and see if the fps is any better. It might narrow down the problem to a subset of mods.
