Thought you might like to see a different type of mob farm. Just so everyone knows, I DID NOT MAKE THIS.
The builder has a youtube channel where he plays vanilla Minecraft. I've not seen any like this in the past and I'm sure refinements can be made to his system with FTB. The builder is Dataless822. No he did not ask me to promote him as he does not even know I exist.
