No you don't. All you have to do is go to this link, click "Accept the Agreement" and click on the correct download.
(I was just able to do it, you do not need any sign-on anything)

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html

Accept the agreement, then click on this:
Linux x64 81.43 MB
jdk-7u21-linux-x64.rpm

If you didn't read it, or simply missed it, I need Update 6 Now, that was update 21, the most recent update. That's the only one that you don't need an Oracle SSO for.
Someone, please help.

Why do you need u6 specifically and why can't you use u21.

Just curious.
I need update six because of a secret rooms crash with the newest version of java. I play on a server and they won't remove the mod. So i need the update 6 because that's the version that they say works.
That's all. If you can provide a way to get update 6, that'd be great.

You don't need an SSO to download ANY VERSION of Java. Sorry you're wrong there. Very wrong, because I just downloaded it. For a 4th time.

Have you even tried using update 21? Because trust me on this, if it were crashing for ALL update 21's, then I would have a LOT more tickets on the help desk. So until I'm proven otherwise on this, you're again wrong.

I don't know why, but i was told that downgrading to upgrade 6 stops the crashing. So if you can download update six, post it here please because I CAN'T. It tells me to make an oracle SSO every time I try.[DOUBLEPOST=1366835998][/DOUBLEPOST]And, Yes, i've used update 21, it doesn't work. I've used java 6 update 45, it doesn't work.

Java 7u21 does not cause crashes with Secret Rooms, I can confirm that.

If you're really getting forced to make an account to download Java, you probably have a virus of some kind. Do a virus scan and see what you come up with.

If your server owner is telling you that Java 7, update 6 is the only way to get it to work, then tell him to provide it.
I still don't believe that
Secret rooms is causing crashes

Regardless, neither he nor I will have any better success at googling than you will. We are not privy to the secret realms of the internet.

Okay, i'll just post another thread with my crash and see what it says. I'll get a pastebin of both mincraft crash screen and console log.
