Windows .exe 38% memmory usage and super lag

so i have given my java about 2g ram so it wont lag which works on tekkit but for some reason it will only take up a bit of the memory and then lag like crazy help i knot know if i need to like inject memory or something hope i can get help soon

FTB is more computer intensive than tekkit. You might need to add more memory. Just so you know for more than 1GB you need 64bit java.

i have already seen that article and it doesn't help any other things that help out any way to make it take up more memory thx[DOUBLEPOST=1366430501][/DOUBLEPOST]um actually all i really want from the ftb mod is mystcraft if you know how to install that with forge that would be great

If you are sure that is the ONLY mod you want. Choose a mod-pack that comes with Mystcraft and disable any other mod in the mods folder. Are you sure you do not want any of the other mods? If you were a new user of the mods I'd not ask, but you used some of them in tekkit. Which mods do you like and which do you not?

Edit: Also are you planning on keeping this save or joining a server?
