What is the bug:
My world has been running smoothly for a long time, but suddenly has started to crash MC in trying to load the save.

I seem to remember similar such crashes from a different Modpack, relating to TE conduits pushing un-buffered into ExNihilo crucibles, but to my knowledge I don't have any of those (I've been using Transfer Pipes which didn't have that problem).

Can it be repeated:
Yes, every attempted load of the saved game.

Known Fix:
I assume I'm going to have to MCedit out the pipe, conduit, etc that's causing it, but I'm no good with the crash reports, so no idea where to start.
 
I concur, this happens from time to time on my servers. MCedit is your best bet as you and UniZero said. I'll look into this and see if I can do anything on my end.
