Closed 2.5.0: compacting drawers not working with broken ore

What is the bug:
the compacting drawers from storage drawers is not working with ex nihilo broken/crushed/powered ore. Is this a bug or on purpose?

This is actually not a bug. Without customization of a modpack, those are working as intended. The reason it does not work is because you cannot craft an ore gravel, sand, or dust back to the pieces like you can with blocks and ingots. Any modpacks you see that have this added is due to the modpack dev spending a lot of time creating custom scripts to make it happen. Having said that, I already created those scripts last night to add this functionality with all ore dusts: including the ones from the nether, end, and the draconium variant. It will be available in the next update!
