257: Reverse the World.

There are few possible iterations of this.
  • Build all the structures upside down.
  • Move the spawn chunks layer by layer from the bottom of the world to the top. Reversing the layers. So that the top layer ends up being the bottom one. This should place sea level at Y:192. It might be best to disable squids before doing this or the next one.
  • Change world gen so that it generates the world upside down. There is no bedrock layer. The first layer of the world would be at Y:255. The player would be started in a surface cave near sea level.
The last one may require some modding skills but would go well combined with the first one.

262 do point 261 but this time with recursion (point 260 might be getting involved to make it possible)

I'm trying, but I've run out of diamonds.
Protip: Railcraft Anchor Carts. They're portable chunkloaders (although if they get unloaded, they won't reload themselves automatically- you may need to go and find them every server restart)

266. Create a perma-chunkloaded system that detects when an anchor-cart-towing locomotive has gotten stuck en route, and automatically dispatch another locomotive with an anchor cart to wake it up.

Alternatively, anchor sentinels. They let you manipulate the range of world anchors, so you can load (up to) nine chunks in a straight line, rather than in a square.

267 make a computercraft script that automatically re-rails this thread when necessary :P
