having same problem white loading screen, can here music in background but no menu. tried removing a few mods but to no go here.
well whopper thx "[19:11:19] [Client thread/INFO] [STDOUT]: [com.minimap.events.FMLEvents:renderTick:101]: Minimap is outdated!" that fixed it for me enable all mods and remove xaeros minimap then all is good.... i will be looking for a decent 1.8 minimap replacement myself unless this one gets updated 
also keep in mind even though walia is a very nice mod to have it gives visual bugs in your game, f3 bottom right tells you what you are looking at though. the visual bug is usually the sun/moon... but you have a good start
I really like this modpack. It's pretty good. I think you should add some mods.
There's this "i" is for Inventory mod that adds a few things.
Add some ore mods possibly? There's this "Simple Ores" mod, and some other mods. I think you should just add some more metal mods, tech, and magic mods and whatever.
