I am being a bit dense and can't figure out what mod is making all hoes and swords unusable outside of crafting.

Noticed increase frame rate and world stability by decreasing Botania's flower quantity and density. Here are the values to assist with further testing:

I:worldgen.flower.density=11

I:worldgen.flower.quantity=1

We did lower the default settings as well. Didn't want to put it too low or it makes Botania not worth getting in to but yeah default was way too high

the thaumonomicon is broken? and still no news on forged by fire i do keep saying its going to take a while[DOUBLEPOST=1409960340][/DOUBLEPOST]

dont really know how to fix your lag have you tried finding JVM arguments? or you could try turning down the spawn of botania flowers and mariculture kelp may help
