By the time you get that you should have your inventory slots unlocked and ore a quarry or even EE.
This is a useful early game item.
I believe you've missed the point of restricting it to late game.
But the whole going to your created dimension thing doesn't feel like I need to go there. When i first launched this modapck, I thought, "Heh, nearly got this fist quest line do-- oh, gotta make my self a teleporter outta iro--- nope, just wood... well, off home I go..." And then realised after i returned to my ship that there was a questline to do on my newly created planet. That questline doesn't nearly stand out enough, even though it seems to be something quite important in this modpack. The fact that it passed so under the radar when I started shouldn't happen. Maybe alter the teleporter thing's recipe to include iron, and then encourage us to explore the world instead of hit tree, make survivalist generator, go home.

Just saying, I need an actual motive to be on that newly made planet instead of just quest coz I can.

Sorry if this comes out as aggressive, i don't mean it to.
I'm working on new teleportation recipes.
It would be more interesting if the first world was per-generated and something like a wasteland. And you had to collect the dimlets to make a more livable one.
And no. Everything's meant to be random. I want replayability.

The two aren't mutually exclusive, particularly when you're talking about the "first" world specifically, but I definitely feel that a random world works just fine here.

The only thing I might improve would be more recourse to and emphasis on using digit dimlets to regenerate that first dimension.

I really like this mod pack and Im trying to run a server so I can play together with a friend, however I cant start it for the life of me. Keeps bugging out half way through the server start saying "Unable to lookup bluepower:". Any help so I can actually start playing would be greatly appreciated

Is there a more in-depth guide to using dimlets to generate worlds.. I think I am just dense, or unlucky.
The order of the dimlets should be...
Terrain.. can these be multiples as well?
Biomes... multiples?
Controllers? multiples?
Materials followed by features.. can you have multiple features? multiples of same features with diff materials?
Structures.. multiples?
Mobs.. multiples?
Sky
Time
Weather
Effects

Can you delete a world from the dialing device? delete dim folder maybe?

AND finally.. is it meant that you can teleport to a dimension that is not loaded into the dimension builder? or is this just a feature for this modpack?

Only one terrain is supported.
You can have multiple biomes.
Only one controller.
You can have multiple featrues. But every feature can only appear once. Some features (like oregen) support multiple materials.
You can have multiple structures.
You can have multiple mobs.
Sky dimlets can be combined if it makes sense. i.e. red sky + green fog + celestial body moon is possible.
Combining time dimlets is not useful.
Weather dimlets can be combined: no thunder + no rain
Effects can be combined

You can use the /rftdim safedel <x> command to delete a dimension and after that delete the DIM folder.

The dimension builder does not load a dimension. It just keeps giving it power. If you remove the tab from the builder then the dimension will remain active but will gradually lose power (unless you use the pathfinder modpack which changes this mechanic).

Yea it had power I don't think enough though it was only at 3/4 and I was powering it with a survival gen (whitch took forever)

For people who manually upgraded RFTools in this pack to 2.63 please upgrade again to 2.64. I fixed a serious dimension creation bug in 2.63.

1. order is NO order of blocks :) consept is block of dimlets by block.
2. terrain multiples
3. biomes single if U use single biome controller
4. controller - i think single
5. materials must be multiples
6. structures - multiples. more structures more it's generating
7. mobs multi
8. sky single per block. but U can get two suns and five moons
9. time depends on suns&moons cicle
10. weather is multi
11. effects is multi

12. del world from dialing device: destroy receiver in that world
13. Yes U can teleport to worlds that not loaded in dimension builder. if that world HAS energy. or if U has special device.

I have a question: how did you store all dimlets?

:( inventory glitch ate my bag with all my tools (their experience) and my best seeds.

Old EE did one thing absolutey right: if you lost a bag you could remake the same color!

You had a list of good questions. Experimenting with RFTools is silly now because it breaks your world if you add feature none along with tendrils and orbs the game crashes and you must restore from backup, start the game and load the game.
For order answers, you can store and then extract possible worlds with the dimension enscriber (as poorly named as factorio's inserters for the same reason).

For answers see Mystcraft because RFTools is a futuristic Mystcraft with cheaper models.
