Hi ! One of the first mission is to make crops and use them to make new seeds. As far as i know you need two (or more) seeds to make the new one. But when looking in NEI i don't manage to make new crop because you need other one which need the crop you want to make.
I must miss something. Can someone help me ?

I'm by far no expert on the matter but i did thinker a lot with IC2/GT Crops.

The best recommendations i can give are as follow:

1) Do not take into account what NEI says about which crop combination result into as crossbreed are a random process.
2) Crops have "levels" (which can be found on wikis easily.) The higher the grade, the easier it is to breed higher graded crops.
3) To easily cross-breed crops, make either a 2x2 or 3x3 farming plot. Then plant your seeds in diagonal and wait for them to crossbreed (watch out for weeds.)
Edit: In order for crops to cross-breed, they need to be at the last two stages of their growth (Ex: Stage 3/4 or 4/4.) You can find out those stages either with a cropnalyzer or by the look of the crop.

4) After you manage to crossbreed (once) the type of crop you want, i highly recommend to crossbreed until you get it a second time (preferable in a position in which you can crossbreed the same two crops.)
5) After you manage to crossbreed a third time the crop you want, then you harvest that third crop (left-click) to try and get the seeds. You repeat this process until you can safely start to propagate your crops on a larger field.

Edit: Please note that crops also have stats (Growth, Gain, Weed resistance.) The higher their stats, the longer and more demanding they are to grow. Which mean a high enough stats crop may require hydration & fertilizer to grow.

Edit #2: For a extremely indepth and thorough guide, you may refer to this site: https://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/ic2-crops-guide-very-indepth.14316/
Just keep in mind that some of the information is based on IC2 and may not apply to Infitech 2.

I cannot get the ender io farming station to harvest cotton. It harvests the whole plant and just replants it with no cotton yield. Does anyone know a way to automate cotton harvesting without using thaumcraft golems?

How do I go about finding out the "biome.rainfall" property for ExtraBiomes biomes. I was looking at the FTB wiki for the Railcraft water tank and I can't seem to find out how to determine this info.

I'm not 100% certain but aren't ebXL just an extension of the normal desert, extremeHills, forest, jungle, swampland, taiga, plains, and ocean biomes? I don't think it changes the precipitation levels of the biomes it extends... but maybe someone else knows a more definite answer?
You were referring to the table on this page: http://ftb.gamepedia.com/Water_Tank right?

Yeah, I was referring to that table. I just wish I knew for sure. :)

I dunno if it's really that important to have the exact number... after all you want to upgrade away from the RC water tank to the enderIO tank... since it makes more water and takes up less space.

Look up the recipe for GT apple juice, swap out the apple for an enchanted golden apple, you get three bottles of juice per apple and they have 8 nebrisum each. It's still kinda pricy at 3 gold ingots per nebrism but you can get gold a lot more easily than stuff like platinum, using a forming press and gold transmutation you can even achieve net lucrum gain there allowing you to create a loop that converts metallum into gold so any source of metal can suffice.
It's 9 nebrisum for me :p Thx a lot man. Now i just need a good source of aura for my chrome. I'm at fusion age trying to build the reactor, but 1000+ chrome ?? That's crazy! I know holy water has auram aspect, but is there a way to craft it?

Holy water is dungeon loot... I believe one of the Railcraft glasses have auram, dunno if they are the ones that can be crafted but I know you can sometimes find them being vendored by NPCs... if you have a good ruby vein and the enderIO ore processor you can get quite a lot of chrome from that...

Hardcore mode, one life. :) (It's an illness, I don't know how to stop.)

Bl**dy hell. Yesterday I went to make a coffee and forgot to press escape. Dead. I would have been crying long into the night if I was on hardcore mode.

How far have you got?

I died twice when trying to transition out of Bronze Age. The biggest challenge for Hardcore is maintaining focus. Complacency is death.

Also, those damn wither cats can die in a fire.

Ender IO + Chemical bath (in mercury) gave me 3 stacks of osmium from one and a half stack iridium ore, not so rare anymore. For chrome, the best way i can think is finding ruby veins and use the advanced miner with microwave power (HV for me). One vein give me 3 stacks and 43 chrome dust+ lots of crushed ruby ore. I just wanted to know if there is a magic alternative to get chrome. Also, bees have been severly nerfed and the crop thing i don't find profitable, so yay for advanced miner with microwave power.

In an 96x96 area is the same type and amount of oil.
it is still a very boring work to hit a oil source, making the oil rig multi block for every try is very annoying, you could have created a more basic thing to prospect , like immersive did, i know we have the seismic , but i dont know how that will work out, and we need to make some stuff of oil before we can use that thing.

Are you getting your information for the Forestry multifarm from the above wiki page? Also note that on that page it says in the notes below that Forestry multifarms are much larger in area if your installed version of Forestry is 1.7.10-3.4.0.7 or greater. Maybe this accounts for the increased harvest radius you're seeing?
quite indeed, but the strange part is that i tested on creative and worked just like the wiki said, but on the game itself after turning the arbo into orchard the size got bigger even on place where there was no platform.

I do find your voice on your video a little difficult to hear, but you're forming words properly, it just sounds like your microphone is muffling it somehow. Can you do anything about making it crispier?
i will try to work a little more to make it better.

Doesn't iTNT / TNT work, and use less resources?
it does, but blood made the recipe for those, quite pain to make.

Hi ! One of the first mission is to make crops

just for experience, keep breeding the crops you want and eventually you will get others one, on the pack until now, i never got the crop i want using what the NEI recommend, i started with nether wart, then red wheat, from those most of my basic metal (tin copper lead iron gold) and the other came as i increased the farm plot.

maybe forestry farm on orchard mode?

Now i just need a good source of aura
i always make a little wispy farm for those.
