1.7.10 laggy on good pc?

I know no tech support will be given for the beta pack but I am not asking for help in resolving this.

So my question is, whats your setup and whats your average framerate and if possible can you check using chunks loaded set to 8.

My setup:
i5 3350p (3.5ghz)
8gb ram (2 - 3gb dedicated)
6870 1gb

Average frame rate with 8 chunks loaded is around 20 - 25

try 4gb dedicated and 6 chunks rendered.

before my last upgrade my specs looked similar to yours, and 6 chunks rendered is the highest I was able to go and still consider it playable.

a SSD
default settings, default superflat world no JVM args.
80-120 fps, avg 100.[DOUBLEPOST=1409023149][/DOUBLEPOST]

70-100FPS, unless I venture into new territory and generate new chunks, then I get either 0 FPS -or- huge FPS but system "seizures" (temporary halting)
