AMP has been updated to version 1.5.2. The pack has been submitted to the FTB team and will hopefully go up in a day or so. This is just a maintenance update bringing a couple of welcome bug fixes and some cool new stuff for EnderIO. It's really starting to look like a Thermal Expansion replacement, which is good.
Also I've started working on fixing and/or replacing missing textures in some of the mods. There are still quite a few textures that need fixing, but those will take more time to track down. I have replaced some of the missing textures with the HappyDiggers logo. Think of it as an easter egg
Here's the changelog:
1.5.2
-updated Applied Energistics to rv13-c
-updated EnderIO to 0.2.0.24
-fixed itemID conflict between EnderIO and GregTech
-updated Logistics Pipes to 0.7.3.dev.689
-updated Redstone In Motion to 2.2.0.0
-updated Tinker's Construct to 1.4.3 final
-fixed/replaced a number of missing testures in Binniemods, Natura, Forestry, ButterflyMania, Translocator, RotaryCraft, ForgeMultiPart, Ultimate Nether. Still many more to do...

Ways to get energy are plentiful in AMP.
You could kill the dragon and put the egg on a Dragon Egg Energy Siphon which will yield 1000EU/t 24/7 for free.
You could use Minefactory Reloaded planters/harvester/fertilizers to grow trees/carrots/potatoes which you can then feed into an array of Bio reactors to make fuel for Bio Fuel Generators. I've made a setup that does about 8500EU/t with this.
Force Engines with Force Shards and water produce 8MJ/t and go on like almost forever on a single shard.
You could pump up lava and use thermal generators.
And there are plenty of other ways to get a lot of power. They may not be as convenient as just putting down a Quantum Generator in Creative Mode, but that's all part of the game really
