Welcome to my first mod, AnotherWorld.
This mod is currently a work in progress, although it is open source.

Introduction
So you have done everything, eh? Built a nuclear reactor? Made an automatic frame machine that makes you a cup of tea and toast in the morning? How about a biodome complex made of forcefields? Really? You did all that? Well I assumme you are rather bored. Hmm.
Well I have just the thing...or might I say a list of things.​
SPACE, the final frontier. Visit many different planets discovering artifacts or even lost alien races. (Not much information as most is secret)​
AUTOMATION, yes I know what you're thinking, "just another techmod that does the same as every other". Well my friend this is different. At first you will only have simple pipes(Not even thought about yet so not decided and not BC style either) and simple logic. You grow ever more intelligent, your design capabilities follow. You start thinking about wires and power. And how these could be put to some use and machines arise, doing your dirty work so you can tend to the wildlife in the biodomes instead. (More to come).
EXPLORATION, AnotherWorld features much exploration, you can't do much without it. The world expansion will add plenty of world gen, it isn't neccissary but it makes the game a bit more fun.

Bear in mind this is a WIP mod and is currently not to be used in a survival world. As it is riddled with bugs that I havent found yet. Use at your own risk
In it's current form, the only thing in world gen is the ores which "should" be OreDictionary compatible so if TE or IC2 and FZ is installed, all my ores aren't needed.​
Another thing to be careful of is currently there isn't a config file this is only due to it being a pain to edit while I am developing.​
Current features :​
  • Multi function tinkering tool
  • A 4x4 advanced crafting table used for more complicated machines
  • A help function for getting info about a block.

Remind me to not abandon this thread, since I will forget.​

Would be nice if you provided some screenshots first, most people (including me) won't bother downloading your mod if you can't present us what it does other than giving a vague description.

You wrote that there is some world gen added, but what exactly?
 
AH sorry yes. I had got side tracked, will add some screenshots In a second.
There are crafting recipes for everything you see in the screenshots although their featrues arent done yet

And currently there are only ores. These are my planned features, not actually in the game yet.
Currently as it says at the start of the page, this is a WIP. I have only posted this for somewhere to discuss it's development instead of on Github.
 
The help mode on that tool(?) thing is pretty nifty.
Needs plenty of work done on it though! It doesn't even have a background :3 It will use a book's background once I get the rest sorted. It is designed to work for mods too :D

Ok :) But watch out, I highly recommend you NOT put this in a survival world though. Although you can bug test it which I like.

I added some info in the download section.

What kind of tool thing is it? I see it also has an "activate" mode. What might that be? And the mod compatibility thing was one of the first things I was curious about.

It is a multi purpose wrench like tool. The activate mode is similar in a way to TC3's wands as in when you click something, it changes in someway. And the mod compatibility is a big focus in my mod. I hate it in my game where mods don't play nice just because X person didn't supply an API or Y modder didn't specifically add a case for this issue. So I want to make my mod as friendly with other mods as I can. The tool acts like a TE wrench and as far as I know can disassemble all TE machines that the crescent hammer can. The BC wrench is a bit buggy so I removed it until I fix it.
The help pages will be provided for as many mods as I can do and people can make wiki packs to make it even more consise.

That all sounds really awesome. So it's essentially a more "omni" omniwrench.

Similar, yes. But plays a big role in the future when it gets some upgrades and makes it look a bit more snazzy. It will be used for your spaceship and other gadgets
