Operating System and bit type: Windows 7 64-bit
Java version/update and bit type: Java 7 Update 17 (64-bit)
Launcher version: v1.3.0
Console log, pastebin.com link: http://pastebin.com/txacZRmk
(Updated console log with new Java 7): http://pastebin.com/MfpYMiY3
Description of the Issue: Horrendous frame rate (1-3 FPS) when the game is playing. When any menu or inventory is open, it jumps to 20-30 FPS (w/o Opti), 70-80 FPS with Optifine, but then plummets back down when the menu is closed. This is a relatively new issue, but it seems to be system-wide. I thought adding in Optifine is what had caused it, but a freshly downloaded version of Horizons displayed the same symptoms. It's inconceivable that this is a hardware issue, Ive never had a problem with minecraft, both of my Graphics processors are perfectly fine and MC isnt even using 25% of the RAM I allocate to it.

P.S. - The console keeps saying "[Minecraft-Client] Memory connection overburdened; after processing 2500 packets, we still have 8647 to go!" etc.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I also used Opis and it didn't report any anomalies. This problem happens even on newly generated worlds. I also posted this to reddit the other day with a few screenshots, maybe it will help: http://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeas...while_playing_7080fps_while_in_menuinventory/

Maybe try to update your Java to 1.7.0.45 and see if that fixes things. Also completely removing all other Java installs might help as well.

I updated it and its still acting the same.

There were 3 versions of Java 6 installed, one of which it was running. I downloaded and installed Java 1.7.0.45 and uninstalled the version of Java 6 it was for some reason running. It now says it is running Java 7 but the problem remains. I can't seem to remove the other two versions of java 6, but it doesnt seem to be interfering. I'll continue to work on getting those off

So do you only get 20 - 30 fps when playing vanilla minecraft? What is your system specs?

You need to remove all versions of java and use ony the latest x64 one from here.

You should be able to remove them from the Programs and Features section from the control panel.

If you still have optifine installed then remove it because the FTB team have stated that it is not compatible with the 1.6 packs and was not recommended for the 1.5 packs either.

Log is in OP, i edited it again
Specs: Intel Core(TM) i7-2720QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 64-bit Windows 7 w/ 8GB Ram

I suppose that will be my last ditch effort, I really like Map Writer. I don't see why that would fix it, as Ive ran Horizons with Map Writer just fine.
