What is the bug:
oak trim requires 7 oak wood "four sticks 5 plank" and creates 4 trim per recipe. Oak trim in the sawmill creates 5 wood some sawdust which lets you create wood.

you can probably just reduce the sawmill recipe to one plank and a 75% chance for a second that would be a statistically even amount of wood
