1.0.2: Potion Plant Pneumatic craft crash client

What is the bug:
Potion plant make crash client when a player is near, i would like to remove them from my world but i can't apparently without remove the mod and restart the server.

Going near a potion plant

Known Fix:
Delete potion plant

Well, potion plants apply various potion-like effects when you go near. So presumably it's specifically that which is causing the issue.
