Closed 1.0.0: Odd bug or feature?

What is the bug:
Whenever i activate creative mode with cheats, i then turn off creative mode, then the abilties cease to upgrade. As in if i use a sword, the hunting/fighting wont upgrade.... or if i use a pick (even if its a wooden one) mining wont upgrade.... or finally the smelthing one wont either. Ive tried this one 3 games. The only one they all worked on was one i didnt use creative mode (but that was also the game where my village became all assassins lol.

I haven't actually encountered this at all, and I use creative at times. In fact, I've leveled up hunter in creative mode. Be aware that hunter only increases when you kill hunter mobs, foraging only increases when you get foraging drops, and calefaction only increases when you take the items out.
