Try pressing 'o' key to enable recipes on right hand side. It may be disabled.
Note: works for me.

wont work for me too. when i type somethign in the search bar it wont change anything on the right side.

There is a current issue with NEI that if you double click the search field once (making it search your inventory aswell) the whole search system stops working. you have to reboot your minecraft to make it work again.

Just completely delete FTB and re-install it from scratch as noted in the posted link as there seems something went wrong in your cache.

Deleting both the NEI & NEI Addons configs did the trick for me...

I meant completely delete your FTB-folder and re-download DW-pack.
