Miner requires a Mining Drill, which requires a lot more iron than I have laying around, plus once I get a drill its just a few small diamonds and gold before I can make a quarry. I guess its back to strip mining.

I've seen the mobs spawn in mid air, so I'd have to either pump mountain full of water to stop it, or light it all up, even dark air blocks. Either one will take a while. I do plan on getting a magic map, though I'll need to head into the nether first.

Episode 2 is up. We finally find some diamonds, start on enchanting, and make our way into the Twilight Forrest.
