    Squids Are OverPowered

This seems like a proper way to punish those squids. There is nothing worse than permanent squid corners or non-stop ink sack spamming when they beach themselves. Making them power a base, in some horrible drainage tank, seems like justice.

What is the fastest way to get rid of a mountain.

A filler would allow for controlled mountain moving. However, I like the Russian method: Nukes.

    OpenBlocks - WIP

Want! The guide block would make my life infinitely easier. I tend to build lots of domes, circles, and spheres, and having to constantly switch windows to a voxel generator (and then often getting my measurements incorrect), is a pain.

    Automated Charcoal Furnace 1.5.2

That solved it! Thank you. Seems that was the only problem, and now all my methods of item routing are working happily. There's a good reason I'm using vanilla furnaces: it allows me to have an extremely dense, set-and-forget, self-fueling tree farm very early game. Generally when I reach...

    Automated Charcoal Furnace 1.5.2

So in 1.4.7, I often ran an automatic charcoal factory using StevesCarts tree farming, standard fueled furnaces, and RedPower tubes. Wood goes into the top of the furnace, charcoal into the bottom, and charcoal is pulled out of the right side to stock the system. In 1.5.2, I obviously lack...

Plasma generators stop accepting cells when connected to more than one machine?

Which modpack version are you running? I've not gotten up to fusion in the 1.5.2 pack yet, but in 1.4.7 I had plasma generators feeding 20 AESUs via glass fiber cable. Have you tried cycling the generators entirely manually? Place cell, remove cell, place cell, etc. Another thing to try...

    Mystcraft 10.4 (152wgt) Render Labels

Derp. Turns out in 1.5.2 Mystcraft has moved its configs. So to change Mystcraft settings, hit your config folder and open the "mystcraft" sub-folder.

    Mystcraft 10.4 (152wgt) Render Labels

I can't seem to get age labels to display above books in 152wgt, nor disable instability. I've changed the requisite lines in the config. Tried a clean install of 152wgt 0.7 and 0.8, and tried swapping in mystcraft 10.5 to no avail. Any ideas?

    Sorting bees with specific genomes?

If you want an exact genome, to for things like "fastest" or specific hybridity, Misc Peripherals is the only way to go. You use the analyzer peripheral (bee, tree, or butterfly, depending on version availability), to dump a table of the complete trait of the given bee (or whatever). You can...

    Ultimate hybrids

For each UH solar, assuming you already had an advanced solar panel and discounting the copper/tin required, also assuming tier 3 greg tech machinery: 907 UUM, plus or minus a bit. That's a lot of UUM.

    Greg Tech new fusion reactor

Or combine them both and get some sort of Autobot.

    Greg Tech new fusion reactor

Bees are the solution to all problems ;).

    Greg Tech new fusion reactor

I generated my chrome from a cascade of a dozen alvearys with fastest producing, longest lived, bees into a bank of overclocked electrolyzers. Still took ages, but was automated, so I could do other things while my chrome generated, and the system auto-shutoff when I reached the required level...

    Help w/ Pump

Sludge should pump, since as of 1.4.7 it is part of the liquid registry. The pump should also work with or without the wooden pipe. I think pumps need more oomph in the current version of BC. Try tossing a few more steam engines onto the pump, and see if that kicks it into gear.

    Greg Tech new fusion reactor

Agreed. The official GT wiki is woefully out of date, which is very problematic for something as complicated as the fusion reactor. The unofficial FTB wiki (http://ftbwiki.org/Fusion_Reactor_(GregTech)) has an amazing set of instructions for getting the fusion reactor up and running, including...

    Greg Tech new fusion reactor

I for one dig the new fusion reactor. It looks incredibly futuristic when placed under a glass dome. Plus if you get heavily into bees, all that iridium is a piece of cake to generate.
  17. Q

    I need iridium

You can industrial centrifuge platinum/shiny metal or industrial grind sheldonite to get iridium nuggets. If you grind sheldonite with mercury (from centrifuging redstone or industrial electrolyzing cinnabar dust), you get an additional platinum dust from the sheldonite.

I just found the Thermal Expansion "Colorblind" setting...

In a mod so color based, an accessibility tweak like this is awesome! Very well done. They're in the folder "cofh". Includes TE, OmniTools, and the Lexicon list.

    Thermal Expansion Code

Another option, unless you're dedicated to the pulverizer, is the minimum stone from EE3. I use copious amounts of gravel for the large installations I tend to build, and that's the rout I go. Or the rock crusher, which can be built pretty early game with sufficient mineshaft scavenging.

    Twilight forest carminite reactor...

It pretty much is what it says it is: a WIP block part of the Dark Tower updates. When its finished, it will be a way to summon carminite ghastlings. I assume it will also do something else, or said ghastlings will become a source of carminite for creating vanishing blocks.
