Where can I find the ore gen configs do you know?Ok so I found some weird configs that aren't meant to be there. So I assume something has gone wrong with the installation process. I will reinstall and check again.

Kk, sorry about the wall of text. As for RAM allocation I have no Idea how to do that. I use 64 bit Windows for my OS. Also, having a laptop with only 4GB of RAM, would allocation 3GB to Minecraft be a good idea?

I've done all this, but the game seems to crash when I use it. I click play, the game loads as usual until it gets to the 'Mojang' screen where it freezes for while before automatically closing.

Doesn't the ftb launcher automatically put it's own files in my roaming? These aren't the complete mod packs that are missing, only the files that allow them to be shown as options.

They were downloaded, but I have followed the guide anyway for a fresh start. After reinstalling, I went into the Roaming file to find that the mod-packs folder is now empty. Perhaps the school is blocking the downloads?
