    Late Game Lag in SSP

In most of the worlds nothing other than a chunk loader, a pump, one magmatic engine and a liquid tesseract. That's not every world though, even in worlds where I don't use the nether with a chunk loader I have the same issues.

    Late Game Lag in SSP

Always in the nether, much worth in the TF. In the Overworld it's the worst when chunks are trying to load, but generally it's terrible the longer I play in any world. I only bothered to mention it here because it's the same issue I had with Ult and now with Unleashed. In general, it's bad...

    Late Game Lag in SSP

But does that necessarily mean that I constantly go from 90+ to 0. I'd be fine with a constant rate, but it plummets frequently and makes the game unplayable and that disappoints me greatly.

    Late Game Lag in SSP

Machine: Win7 64bit, Java 7 update 45 I think, should be the most recent. 6GB of RAM, 8ghz AMD Dual Core, NVIDIA 8800gt. So, my worlds always start off just fine, but I have some major issues later in the game. My very late game worlds with multiple quarries/advanced AE machines and...

So who cares that it affected unsuspecting non-FTB users, it wasn't "forced" so it's "okie-dokie".... This opinion regardless of the user is ridiculous, it's like saying the bastards who install browser search bars on my grandma's computer aren't complicit. IMHO just another Gregling...

And? The FTB community ought to endore and/or condone this type of behavior? I for one certainly think not. Stability is a concern for the modpack compilers, a dude who's willing to do this now, will do so again in the future..... never mind that this isn't the fire time he's engaged in such...

Welcome to 99.99999999% of all development. End users only care about a binary condition of work/don't work, Greg went so far as to make the 'software ignorant' end users game crash and unless you're savvy enough to understand the conditions of that exception then all you know is that, "it don't...

He undid a GT recipe change to the vanilla log = 4 planks. He did so after those changes are typically implemented, it was on purpose, however the response could have been anything other than a game crashing exception and Greg chose to go with the the game crashing exception route instead of...

If you're ever written any code, you know good and well there are multiple ways to handle exceptions. It could have been nested in a try/catch block that simply let the user know that the GT recipe had been modified and if they wanted to change it back to the GT version then do X, Greg didn't do...

If reverting a modified recipe to it's original version is what you call malicious code, then you have an extremely lose definition. How is this change, other than the point of initiation any different from any of the changes that Greg routinely makes in his code. You sound quite far from...

Two versions already exist in private packs, it's a slap on the wrist for what in any other coding community would garner ostracizing. If you don't like what another mod author does, you discuss it, not attack end users. Not to mention this is hardly the first such incidence from Greg. I...

Hardly a fair comparison. In one instance we have an intentional assault, on the other you can still add it to the pack if you like. Choice vs. no choice, pretty simple.

True, but at one point folks thought RP wasn't replaceable, I firmly believe that any functionality that GT adds could be added by some other mod down the road. If folks would like to continue to use GT, let them install it themselves. After all, that is often the mantra of the GT zealots, that...

mDiyo shouldn't be apologizing for anything, at all. This is, from my perspective, an observable pattern of behavior from Greg and one that should not be tolerated by the folks who put together the FTB packs. Greg has violated the trust of users to engage in personal attacks against other...

Gregtech deliberately crashing client if TC installed..

It's one thing to play pranks on other mod authors, but this is the second instance I'm aware of, of Greg inserting malicious code. This behavior should NOT be tolerated and I'll be sorely disappointed if he isn't given the boot and made an example out of. The pack is much better off without...
