Hmmmm perhaps it's a flux thing then? Does killing either skeletons generate flux? That's what I was doing Didn't have any other flux related symptoms though

Bump This happened to me a few hours ago on the yogcraft pack A witch was in the nether, hundreds of blocks away from my portal. It appeared to spawn in the lava and promptly died. I only have one nether portal and its on a floating island in an extreme hills biome. No chance of it spawning...

just found this, by pausing the server to read exactly what it says befoe it fails on CMD http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/ftb-server-and-allocating-more-ram-to-server-help-please.11507/ so looks like i was right about the path way being wrong but he hasnt specifed how he fixed it. argh!
