    Actually, looking more closely, how do I get aluminium? I have my EBF, but I can't cook aluminium, because I have no dust. I also haven't unlocked the quest for it because it needs the cutting machine, which needs cobalt brass, which needs aluminium. What am I missing?

    The blast furnace is disabled, but the improved/reinforced one isn't, and it now takes coke oven bricks to make. The steel you can get from a bronze blast furnace. My current issue: I can't make brownstone road because the chisel from TC is disabled, so I can't unlock town 3

    How do you make compressed iron? I tried leaving iron on the ground, threw dynamite on it, all 3 stacks disappeared. Then I tried with a powderbarrel, same effect. Is it a specific explosion?

    Simple question - how much energy do the low tier processing machines use? Macerator and ore washer recipes don't show their cost; trying to make a small, efficient processing area, don't want to have to use too much wiring or transformers.

    Do many people use superconductors in their base? It seems that, once you're high enough to use them, they have little use. Even powering my base 200 blocks away with yttrium-barium-cuprate cables, which are dirt cheap, I'm only losing 2%. I wonder why higher voltage cables aren't more lossy...

    Because there are so many mods - what are people finding to be the best armor/weapons? So far I'm using a thaumium sword with max Sharpness, looting, repair...but I can probably do better, nano is my next step. Armor, nano, soon quantum, also max enchanted.

    Best I can tell, amplifabricator and mass fabricator don't work in a processing array. Shame. Non-cheaty - most full dusts seem to work, I started dumping my sulfur dust. Cheaty - at least in my version, stone path from MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod works...

    I thought that 128v input flipped the EBF into HV - just checked the wiki, it's 129. I feel dumb, that's so much simpler.
