..over say grabbing vanilla and adding your own mods to it? Are the mod packs optimized better to prevent "LAG" than a hodge-podge mix of mods on top of vanilla? Pardon me, I am a bit of a greeny noob here. It just seems I cant find a pack with the mods I want and when I find something close...

Is this possible? I mean, can i simply get the updated jar files for 1.5.X or better and copy that into the server root? I realize there will be errors but can the errors be dealt with by updating the mods that do have available updates and dropping the rest? Or would it be better to get the...

Problem is, none of the PEX commands are available, it says I dont have permisssions to use them.

nope. no go. what happens is nothing 'seems' to load. no perms are granted, but if I OP myself and then start server, all the PEX commands are available, but default nodes are not passing to players except for OPed users.

Like so many others I have read about on this forum and on the web, I cannot get PEX to load permissions. (for that matter, I cannot get any of the "approved" plugins to work from the list on this forum.) PEX bugs me though. I have not once gotten it to work since I moved over from Tekkit...

I know they fail because the console says "fails.... etc, etc,.." when I try to load them. That, or the server simply will not load.

I am now running MCPC+, I fail to see any difference, plugins still fail. The MCPC snapshot is in te root directory and named "mcpc-plus-legacy-1.4.7-R1.1-SNAPSHOT-f534-L67.jar" do I load plugins into the MODS folder or PLUGINS? I ask the stupid question because some plugins I saw say to...

New question: I was running jcommandsessentials, which is a server command plugin. it no longer works. Same with-- Deathbukkit- death chests Lapis Portals- portals, teleportation Anyone know any substitutes for Feed the Beast?

well, I think that answered my question. LOL. The jar file was installed by my server host... removing it seems to have answered some of my questions. Thanks

I have the MCPCFORGEMOD.jar in my server root..

First off, I am using FTB Ultimate. with BUkkit Forge. I have tried quite a few plugins for various purposes and have failed. Too many are they to mention but all were supposedly OK with Bukkitforge. I am looking for a DEATHCHEST or comparable mod as well as something akin to LAPISPORTALS...
