I do. I am currently using Commodo firewall and Avast! I allowed the FTB .exe to connect on both, but it still is having problems.

I've got a similar issue, but it stops me from logging in whatsoever. I put it in exclusions, is that all that needs to be done?

Apparently Avast! conflicts with FTB it still doesn't connect regardless if Avast! is on or not. Any information regarding anti-virus software / firewalls blocking FTB would be great.
