What version of extrautilities works with the preview of optifine? 'Cause Ive tried but havent been able to get it to work properly..

So.. I got it wrking using Extra Utilities 2 1.0.1... But has anyone found a way to run 1.1.0+ (be it a,b or c) with optifine? I need optifine for hermit to be playable at all (seriously.. 2 fps.. Wtf.. Optifine makes it run at 60.. the fuck is wrong with this modpack?) but I don't want to miss...
