Hm. I've set my Chunk Loading to Smooth, instead of Multi-Core. It seems that was the option in question, which I before thought was referring to CPU. This has, as far as I can tell, alleviated the problem entirely. I'll keep updated.

Is the setting in-game, or externally somehow? I can't actually find any such thing.
