It is a rather odd error, I find that while my server shuts down during a restart two mods seem to have issues "saving". Applied Energistics' Controller throws a save error as well as Mekanism's Universal Cables. Both which I believe are classified as entities.

Check out BukkitForge, it will allow SOME plugins to be run in Forge. The problem is that no matter what you use to run FTB it is still a Forge API based server not Bukkit. Once you load BukkitForge a plugins folder should appear. Follow the instructions, the BukkitForge jar goes into the mods...

After messaging the mod dev for GalactiCraft he said that it was a conflict that needed to be resolved between the two mods and was awaiting a replay from Tinker's author. Wait and see for the next 1.6 update hopefully.

perhaps try looking into the names of UI in the mod folders, could be a conflict of both mods having the same name for the UI
