yeah I had 32 bit and 64 bit java... and the 64 bit was on disc I and 32 bit on C so it used that on C...

when I updated to java 7 update 9 now, the launcher can update normaly but when I press the launch, the launcher closes and nothing happens, no error in the console. and yes vanilla minecraft starts so java is ok.
