I use the extra bees machines, but they are almost all manual. The genepool gets auto-fed the extra drones. I don't find them being manual that big of a problem, as I only really use them to get a new bee ready for production (Giving it flyer, nocturnal, etc) which doesn't happen very often.

Boilers will pull from an adjacent inventory. Just stick the chest right next to the fuel box.

I don't use a gate system, I have two sawmills with two hoppers on each, hoppers fed by filter. The sawmill's into a double wooden chest, which the boilers pull directly from. I void the sawdust at the moment.

I have a 16x16 SC Tree Farm running two boilers on planks alone still, with no issue. My problem after the latest update is I seem to be getting less Saplings, and my biofuel production is having trouble keeping up with 4 liquid boilers. I've had to tap into my reserve sapling barrel for now.

This is false - at least it was in Mindcrack v7, and I do not see SoulShards as being updated in the v8 release. I used a tier 2 wither shard to collect many a skull.

If you sawmill them, you will get 6 planks, each of which will provide as much heat as a single log. Collectively, more than 1 piece of charcoal as well.

Would I need to regulate the system with a timer/filter though? Wouldn't my relay fill up, so the Sawmill wouldn't output, so the hoppers would fill up, then the filter would fill, resulting in the logs going to my barrel instead? Trying to avoid timers.
