disable realistic pain mod and that'll fix you right up! I had the exact same problem.

Just had my meteor shield from the quest blown up by a creeper... cant build another one :( we need to be able to build more of these if you don't want people cheating stuff in. Or maybe make the quests that give "quest only" items repeatable?
