Why doesn't it install it in the appdata folder like minecraft?

I'm sure you know about the 2 files and 1 folder that fill up my desktop when you run it.. Please get rid of them. When, ever, did anyone think it was a good idea to store local files in the same folder as it is run from, it still fills it up if i use a short cut. Genuinely not using this mod...
