something else you could do is with the crafting paradises mod make the bedrock area a biome similar to a mushroom biome where no mobs spawn but make a custom biome so no mobs at all spawn and not make it a mushrom biome because mooshrooms will spawn if you put grass there. yea i was worrying...

The only thing i can think of with the bedrock is that it constantly is checking the bedrock to spawn on and simply cant and since there is so much of it it is just not allowing other blocks to check as often so your only solution is to probably change out the bedrock floor for another block if...

okay so i figured maybe my instance is bad with the whole no mobs spawning outside the spacial area so i install a completely new instance of the pack and i make a back up of my world and mobs still aren't spawning so i make a new world thinking that maybe my world is corrupt but well... no luck...

Oh yes speaking of soul shards this is probably not a problem with the map but I cant get more than one endermen into a soul shard i have no idea why i killed a normal endermen holding nothing and i keep killing more and the soul shard doesn't fill up

Nope the only mobs that spawn are in the spatial area at night time i even made a dark room in the spatial and mobs don't spawn during the day even though it is light level 0 in there

i tried but none are spawning

is it even possible to make a mob trap because no mobs are spawning unless it is night and inside the spatial storage area
