    It's kind of been replaced. Gideon moved over to working on FTB Infinity Evolved, which is in many ways a better version of The Dark Trilogy. Your best bet will be to start playing that, as even if you did get TDT working it will not be updated or maintained, whilst Infinity Evolved will be.

    Will updating IE in the FTB Infinity Evolved pack mess anything up, such as recipe changes? I've been unsure as to whether to wait for the pack to be updated or to just update IE myself.

    I'm finding that my MV cables are disappearing. New cables I am placing have been disappearing after I save and quit the world. Surprisingly, some of my oldest cables are just fine. I've lost over 2 stacks of electrum to this so far so I'm working on retrofitting my base with Thermal Dynamics...

    Well, things just got a little interesting in my evolved world. I had noticed that a lot of the trees in this one patch near my base were off color, figured it was just a sub-biome of some kind. Turns out the world considers it a nether biome. On the plus side I have a source of early game gold...

    I'm getting a message back that I don't have permission to enter the command. Also in a BoP world.

    I updated to Infinity Evolved and started a new single-player world. Everything has been fine, but I cannot enter expert mode. Even though I am the world creator and only one there, I do not have permission to use the "ftb_mode set expert" command.

    This looks similar in some ways to The Dark Trilogy third party pack by Gideon. Will there be this type of progression in magic mods as well? How many of the mods will be integrated with the progression vs mods that will not be?

    I really should have realized before now that Thaumic Energistics was an add-on for Applied Energistics. That fixed the problem for AE, still working on figuring out why Ender IO doesn't want to be taken out.

    I tried removing Applied Energistics 2 and Ender IO from FTB Infinity today, and it gave me crash reports saying that these mods were required. Why is that? Most other mods can be removed no problem.

    That is a really cool pack. Not 100% what I was thinking with this one, as it is more of a quest mode than normal Minecraft exploration/ building, but it's still very interesting. I'll have to give it a run.
