Hmmm, only time I've ever heard/seen that error is if you're using the wrong version of Forge. When you updated the modpack did you replace Forge along with the mods, or just the mods? (Dumb question, but have to ask.) :P

You just have to make sure you import the right configs. I've done Beta - DW20 - Mindcrack - Ultimate before and Beta - Mindcrack - Ultimate for a server.

And what error report are we supposed to read? So make sure the server is on, you have the right IP address entered, your cable is connected to the computer so you actually have internet access, you know the basic stuff of how to play online.

What you should do is check your logs and see if any of the item IDs are conflicting, as they would need to be resolved. Do an NEI dump of your IDs, if you need to change them, so you know which ones are free, etc. Its honestly, really simple.
