So i'm trying to spawn ghasts with an MFR spawner so I can make the elusive galgadorian drill. I've got it powered up and everything but it doesn't spawn anything. What gives? Before you ask, yes i've given them enough room and no, I don't need mob essence (still in 1.4.7).

How do you use them? I assume you drink them like the vanilla potions, but holding the right mouse button does nothing.

Anyone else seen this before? I never have. I wonder if this also affects RC tanks.
