was searching around the net for quarry vs miner opinions and saw a guy use another mod similar to computercraft to expand the range of the miner. so the question is, can you do something like this with computer craft? or perhaps another mod in this pack?

while on this pipe subject, is there a way to make the gates extract faster?

It is as you say, tedious. so for work that need rails these do fine. hs rails is the only thing that u might want to upgrade to but thats for traveling. i think most people use portals to travel now.

I gave up trying to make rails. U still need to make booster, holding, boarding, etc. But i rather use mystcraft and make a world with mines. there is a ton of rails there for the picking.

thanks for the tips. i knew some of them already, but the mob trap one. got to look into that. what i meant was that even though u the the saw with silk touch it is very slow. in an age with mining fatigue the, the saw is just way way too slow. so basically i was just trying to get a mining pick...

Hi guys. Basically i was just wondering if enchanting is affected by any of the mods in the pack? if so, how? if not, is there an easy way to get the enchant that you want? i kinda tired of deleting and pasting my save file because of this silly randomness : /. thanks.

My only problem with gregtech is the expensive solar panels recipe. especially for new guys like me. after that the mod is pretty good if not too good. (heated machines is done by that mod right?)

I would recommend learning indudtrial craft. the main site for IC has a nice and short getting started guide. i disabled gtech but later on enabled it again. u dont want to do that. Instead, disable expansive solar panels intead. search how to disable solar panels on google. i would give you the...

btw if you disabled gregtech like some people here suggested keep it disable. if u activate it after u have turned if off in a map, the ores that mod gives you will be just gone. so basically u wont be able to get stuff like aluminum unless u make a new map or (i'm not sure if this works) move...
