Right now, their servers are not online. It looks like there were problems with certain parts downloading, to me. Unfortunately, with the servers down right now, there's not really a way for you to work around it, if it is indeed a download error.

That brings up an interesting bug I found recently. I pumped out a well of oil into my 7x7x8 iron tank. It got up to about 2000 buckets full, but when I logged out and then back in, it had dropped to less than half of that. Is this a bug with RC or am I doing something wrong?

Yea that's alright. No worries on the walkthrough, it's pretty simple since the developer of MultiMC added the FTB launcher option. But hey, the more FTB people play, the better it'll be, so I'll help with whatever I can.

I used the backup configs button that came up in the launcher when I updated. Had I known it would delete those things, I would've backed everything up.

True, and I agree that it's my mistake, still, I did select backup configs when performing the update, it doesn't seem as though it backed up my waypoints.

I understand that, but as long as you run the FTB launcher one time, and you should have been able to considering you were able to download the launcher, the configs are setup for you already. Then you can use the import tool that MultiMC has and you're basically gravy.

I'd like to think that this post is here to help people. Maybe not too much anymore, considering there is an offline button on the FTB launcher now, however, it is here for those who want it. If you don't want to use MultiMC, that's fine, but this thread is not the place to discuss that.

Delete all of the files, aside from the executable, make sure you're using the most current version of the launcher and try again. That's the best I can think of.
