You can however get from iron to bronze by making pig iron. That was really handy for me since I am living in a village.

Wow I wish I could be lucky. Most of the gravestones I've dug up have had nothing at all. Only a few have had bones and flesh. I am so unlucky that I found a vanilla desert temple with the tnt trap already set off so there was no chest.

Yes on the iron hoe. Jaded made it like that so not starving would be more of a challenge. I'm tempted to try to play magic farm in hardcore mode, but I would probably end up having to start over so many times....

Yeah I am definitively going to get the 7200 RPM drive. 7200s really help when recording music. My thinking right now is that it probably won't last too long as a gaming pc, but I could game on it for a couple years, and it would be usable in general long enough to get me through college.

Oh yeah that reminds me, I used to turn charcoal into coal (forgot which mod did it) and I put the coal through a bunch of IC2 machines and turned it all into diamonds. I don't know if you can still do this, but it was pretty great.
