Will the Well of Suffering work on entities beneath it?

Is there a maximum range on the well of suffering for it to do anything? I built one about 10 or 12 blocks beneath my altar with a mob farm in between, and it doesn't seem to damage any of the entities, including a highly-trained test pig I placed right on top of the master ritual stone.

Um, yes. Harvest golems will harvest them. That was stated in the original post. They just won't replant them, even with the order upgrade.

Nothing beats a Sword of the Zephyr for taking down hordes of mobs. Who cares if you can't one-shot an enemy when you can two-shot ten of them at once? Also never needs to be repaired if you have the repair enchant.

Use golems can replant the seeds.

Yeah, the lumber axe will search upwards and take out all the "log" blocks connected to the initial block you break. One whack will take down a sacred oak (and possibly your server) so be careful.

Always a good idea to bring a blood orb with you in your knapsack, just in case.

You might be right. I wasn't standing next to the crucible at the time - maybe it checks the research of players standing next to it when the catalyst goes in? If that's the case, then there won't be any way to automate alchemy unless Azanor adds a way to let golems act as proxies for you...

Yeah, getting the stuff in the crucible isn't an issue. Getting the components to actually react and create the desired product is. Didn't try this, since right clicking a catalyst on the crucible doesn't do anything when I'm doing things manually. If it does work that way, I'd be surprised.

No, essentia doesn't decay that fast. The crucible was still full by the time the catalyst was added.
