It's only optional if you stick to the basic recipe that returns 1 circuit. But the old recipes to make multiple components out of electrum are gone because of it (which is the part that I find most irritating).

Yeah, I agree.. I play Mindcrack because it has Gregtech and I enjoy a challenge, but adding the plate bending machine and circuit assembler really annoys me. Those machines are just unnecessarily tedious to me. And you can't even turn those off with a config option.

I pumped water in the top with liquiducts. Pulled items from the bottom with pneumatic tube connected to a retriever. Not sure where to pump ore in; I didn't automate that.

My wife and I have been playing together by me opening up my computer up for LAN for about 2 months now, works great for us.

Damnit, I didn't even think about april fool's... My portal gun didn't turn into a pig but the left and right mouse clicks got reversed too, and I was several thousand blocks from home. I thought my config file got messed up or something. Joke's on us, hah!

No. If you put the pickaxe on, you'll have to choose between the chunk loader or the solar panel. On a turtle you can only have one tool and one utility peripheral, or two utility peripherals; and never two tools.

I read that REI's minimap was getting axed because it caused memory leaks, and was being replaced with voxelmap.. I am still getting memory leaks anyway, though, so why was REIs removed if that wasn't it? But, at any rate, after updating I don't have a minimap at all. How do I turn on voxelmap?

Put an iron pipe at the end, and hit it with a wench so that the input end of the iron segment is facing away from the rest of the pipe.

I haven't personally, but I think (could be wrong) that only the basic charge station can accept MJ, anything higher requires EU.

They're bugged pretty bad at the moment. I'd say wait until next patch. As it is the regular charge station is the only one that works period and to make it work you have to break it then replace it every time the server restarts for it to work at all.
