Jack o' Lanterns as they give light but no heat...and hella easier to get than Glowstone. I quit using torches (overheating, setting everything on fire, etc) and switched to using Jack o' Lanterns everywhere once I got some pumpkin seeds.

OK, so my friend tells me that last night he lost his MyFit. As the quest is repeatable he did re-did the quest. The server apparently had an issue with that and kicked him. When he tried to log back in he got the error that the tile.whiteStone was missing. Could the two be related? EDIT...

Even and individual update/replacement of the Openblocks mod does not fix the missing tile.whiteStone. When stuff like this happens it really boggles my mind because how could a file go missing from one day to the next when during the last time I was on the server and now the server was...

I just came across this issue as well and have no clue how to fix it. EDIT: My group is running v 1.3.0 and as far as I know we have not yet placed any microblocks.

The composting part of Ex Nihilo is in (thankfully) but I can't get Silkworms from trees even though you can make crooks. That means there is no reliable way to get string and given the number of quests I've seen that need wool I have to wonder what sources of string other than random drops off...

There are these hardened clay spires everywhere and these low (3-4 block high) hardened clay mounds....are these the 'stone towers' to which you refer? Because within 1000 blocks in all directions that is all we've come across other than the player bunkers.

What I ended up doing was just clearing out my entire FTB mods folder, download the 1.0.7 pack, turned off Opis' stuff and Journeymans and added Rei's from that link and it worked. There must have been some error in the initial download that was causing a problem.

I've done all that and still when I disable Opis 1.1.0 alpha and enable Rei's using that version you linked the FTB launcher begins loading then just shuts down. Who thought those other maps were a good idea? They are horrible, especially that Zan's Opis map.

I too wanted to get switch out Opis for Rei's but when I disabled Opis and enabled Rei's, Direwolf20 (V1.0.6) fails to load. In fact, the entire launcher just quits.

That link doesn't work, the website says service unavailable. Edit: Nevermind! It seems their server went down but now all is well.

That list isn't being kept up-to-date. It shows that Minefactory Reloaded is still in development for 1.6.2/1.6/4 yet if you go to the Minecraft forums you see this thread showing Minefactory Reloaded for 1.6.2/1.6.4.
